Intent 

In modern society, technology is continuing to evolve and draws interest in children’s lives. Our role is to model and educate our pupils on how to use technology positively, responsibly and safely.  At Haslingfield Endowed Primary School we want our pupils to experience a broad curriculum encompassing computer science, information technology and digital literacy where pupils are able to use a variety of software and hardware to share their learning in creative ways. 

We also recognise and understand the need for children to develop their Computing skills using both on and off screen learning.We want our pupils to be fluent with a range of tools to demonstrate appropriately their understanding and hope by Upper Key Stage 2, children have the independence and confidence to choose the best tool to fulfil the task and challenge set by teachers.
